Chi Sigma Iota (CSI)
CSI is an international honor society that values academic and professional excellence in counseling. CSI promotes a strong professional identity through members (professional counselors, counselor educators, and students) who contribute to the realization of a healthy society by fostering wellness and human dignity.
Mission: To promote unity, community, scholarship, leadership and excellence in counseling, as well as encourage high attainment in the pursuit of academic and professional success.
Get Involved: CSI provides many service events and activities geared towards improving relations with families, schools and individuals within our community.
The following is a list of different events and services that CSI has been involved with in the past and hopes to continue to be involved with in the future: Shamrock Shuffle, Habitat for Humanity, Bowling for Kids Sake, Adopt a Family, and Down Syndrome Awareness Walk.
Membership: To become an official member of CSI you need to have 9 credits completed and maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA. Please contact Renae Swanson (swansonrd@uwosh.edu) for more information on how to get started on becoming a member.
