Disciplinary literacy focuses on the literacy tools – reading, writing, speaking, listening, and interpreting media – that enhance learning in the content disciplines. The Disciplinary Literacy Certificate is offered collaboratively between the Department of Teaching & Learning and the Department of Literacy & Language. The program is custom-designed for cohorts of PK-12 educators and may consist of 9 to 15 credits.

Go to the Department of Teaching & Learning for additional information on the Disciplinary Literacy Certificate.
